PJ and Common release new video “Imagine”
A Beautiful Revolution (Pt. 1), Common’s body of work released in October, included nine cuts and additional appearances from other artists such as Morgan Parker, Jessica Care Moore, Lenny Kravitz, Black Thought, and PJ the last of whom appeared on four of the project’s tracks, including the standout single “What Do You Say (Move It Baby).” She recently teamed up with Chicagoan counterpart Vonna B on the project “Imagine,” produced by Karriem Riggins and sampling René Moore and Angela Winbush’s ’80s hit “Imaginary Playmates.” In the same way as “A Beautiful Revolution,” “Imagine” is infused with a sense of dreams for the future.
In 2019, Common’s latest official studio album, Let Love, dropped with 11 songs and notable collaborations with Daniel Caesar, the late Swizz Beatz, J Dilla, Leikeli47, BJ The Chicago Kid, Jill Scott, A-Trak, Leon Bridges, and more. As previously reported by REVOLT, Common is expanding his filmography with the Netflix dramedy “Never Have I Ever.” He is set to play a recurring role as Dr. Chris Jackson in the show’s second season. Prior to that, he appeared in “Home Movie: The Princess Bride” and “Ava.” last year.
